I was born in Little Rock on August 6th, 1985. I grew up in a Christian home. I went to a local Christian high school and then straight on to Harding University after that. Harding is strictly church of Christ and it wasn’t until I left college in 2007 that I made the big move to Fellowship. (Huge difference!) I have a sister that is 17 months older than me, a brother-in-law that I adore and parents that I do not deserve. The rest of my immediate family is located in Little Rock as well so we are very close. I work as an account manager at a health insurance company where I have been for 2 years. I have the greatest group of friends on the planet and I couldn’t ask for a better church family. I love running, reading and anything that involves good food. I am also very passionate about nutrition/dietetics and India. I have no idea what God is going to do with those passions but I am sure it is something amazing!
When it comes to me and Jesus I never really had one of those “born again” moments, where all of a sudden a light bulb goes off, the Lord speaks clearly and everything changes. My transition was a long, slow one. He used a desperate and empty time in my life to slowly transform my heart to recognize my need for a savior. As long and painful as that time was, I can look back now and see how He was with me at every moment even though I was completely out of touch with His presence. I wouldn’t change a single second of my continuous journey because I see every day how He can turn things around and use them for His glory and my good. Right now the Lord has my life in a place of significant growth and change and I learn new things about Him every single day!
