501 Habitat Build
Welcome to the informational hub of 501’s first Habitat Build. Over the next several months we will be partnering with Habitat of Pulaski County to build their 100th home in the fight to break the cycle of generational poverty both here in central Arkansas and internationally as well. The build will be started in front of Fellowship Bible’s Little Rock campus and will be moved to its permanent foundation for completion by mid summer.
In the coming weeks and months this will be the place for information, testimonials, updates, forms, discussion and all sorts of other ways to be informed and stay connected to our effort to connect, serve, and love tangibly in Jesus’ name. There are all sorts of opportunities for your involvement in this project regardless of your age. As 501 we welcome you all to join us in the giving of your time, your money, your energy, and your prayers because all will be needed! To contact someone about your interest in involvement please email Rory Yates at ryates@fellowshiponline.com.
Important Dates
Important Notice: Target project completion date set for early October. Work on the Martinez home continues, and with the roof now finished we are a couple weeks away from beginning work on the inside of the house. Pushed back by weather and other construction delays, the house was moved in late July to it’s permanent location at 4002 Arapaho Trail. 501 Saturday work crews will be working solid starting through September into October on both the Martinez’ home and in their neighborhood to bless that family and that community as neighbors become friends. We want to get this done for Henry and his family, they have waited long enough!
The tentative work schedule is as follows and subject to change:
August 21st – Siding
August 28th – Siding
September 4th – Holiday Weekend
September 11th – Insulation/J bolts
September 18th – Insulation & Plastic Under House
September 25th – Trim
October 2nd – Landscaping, 1/4 Round
