501 Donates Habitat Funds to “Break Ground”
501’s Habitat build kickoff went great Thursday night 3/18/10. Needing $5000 from the 501 community to begin construction, the 501 gave over $9000 in donations and pledges.
As we look to give of our time, effort, and resources in serving our city in Jesus’ name Thursday was an awesome first step toward the $35,000 we are working to raise to provide a home for a family here in Little Rock.
This Tuesday workers arrived at the work site to set the piers for the start of the build…we are underway!

501’s 1st Annual Hicks on Sticks!
It’s happening folks! Ski trip time! We’ll be hitting Winter Park for 3 days of spring skiing. Leaving March 28th we’ll be on the slopes the 30th-April 1st, leaving from home that Friday, April 2nd. This trip is going to be a fantastic time to get away with great people to a great place at a great price……Just $595 for transportation lodging, equipment rental, 3 days skiing, 4 nights lodging, and meals while on the mountain. You can say it……..”Dang!”
Keeping a very relaxed schedule, we will be able to enjoy what has been created in a bunch a ways: lazy fireside chats before a beautiful mountain vista, family style dinners together in the condos at night, and of course, skiing…lots of it.
All the while we will be discussing and experiencing the importance of stillness and community in coming to a deeper life giving knowledge of Jesus Christ. It’s going to be an incredible time.
Until December 31st this trip is being publicized exclusively to 501ers, come the new year though we will start informing young adults in the Fellowship church body at large. With only 30 slots at this price, we expect this trip to fill up quickly. Though you as a 501er are getting first dibs PLEASE do not think this trip is closed to anyone you would want to invite. See the flier for full payment schedule but until January 7th a $115 NON Refundable deposit holds your slot (after the 7th the first and second payments are due as a lump sum of $335). Deposits can be submitted to the administration desk at Fellowship’s Little Rock Campus. Please fill out and turn in the back flap of the flier with your deposit, and make checks payable to FBC, putting 501 Ski Trip on the memo line.
